Realizando que el estrés es una reacción natural que forma parte del instinto para sobrevivir, los ejercicios en este libro muestran la importancia de aprender a manejarlo de una manera eficaz para evitar el desarrollo de la tensión y sentimientos de desesperación. Para manejar el estrés adecuadamente, el individuo debe primero comprender sus causas y consecuencias, tanto físicas cómo mentales. Aún siendo una manifestación natural, es necesario manejar el estrés adecuadamente para evitar el desarrollo de problemas más graves.
