Involved in government as well as education, they served as colonial governors and judges, state representatives, framers of constitutions, (US and states) as well as being among the founders of Princeton, Dartmouth and King's College (Columbia University.) Their vision and dedication to making the best society they could paved the way for those who followed. It is a personal story of family as well as a testament to all pioneers who have the courage to follow a new path.

Pamela Adlum Vigil is a retired registered nurse. She has a BA in Liberal Studies from the University of Redlands, Redlands, California and also studied history at the University of Texas at Austin.
Her interest in the historic stories of American families led her to spend five years exploring her own family's history and their involvement in the building of our nation. This is her first book. She and her husband Joe live in Round Rock, Texas.
