Beschreibung

This book serves as a guide for physicians and practitioners caring for patients with genital skin disease, both of the penis and the vulva. In addition to reviewing the normal anatomy, anatomic variants, and proper technique for performing the genital exam, it provides a comprehensive review of genital dermatoses and related pain syndromes, including keys to diagnosis and treatment of each. Numerous color photographs will assist the reader with properly identifying signs of specific skin diseases on exam.
A Comprehensive Guide to Genital Skin Disease will be a must-have resource for primarily general dermatologists, gynecologists, and urologists, as they are the physicians who typically care for genital disease or genital skin disease. Primary care physicians could also use this book as a reference for triaging normal versus abnormal findings in the genital area, especially when deciding if a referral to a specialist is indicated.
