Alvin E. Roth is the Craig and Susan McCaw Professor of Economics at Stanford University and the George Gund Professor of Economics and Business Administration Emeritus at Harvard University. A member of the National Academy of Sciences and past president of the American Economic Association, he lives in Stanford, California.
