Ana de Medeiros is Director of the King's College Language Centre and Chair of the Association of University Language Communities, representing University Language Centres in the UK and Ireland. She has a PhD in French Literature and is one of the co-directors of the Language Acts and Worldmaking book series.
Having taught French at several UK Universities, James Fowler is currently Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Modern Languages of King's College, London. His research focuses on French Thought and Literature of the period 1600-1800. Besides writing books and articles pertaining to this area, he has translated several works by Voltaire into English.
Thomas Chaurin holds a Masters in French as a Foreign Language from the University of Rennes 2, in Brittany. He teaches French language to adults and is the Director of the Languages for All programme at the University of Edinburgh. Prior to this post, he taught French in various institutions in Slovakia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Chile, Canada and the USA. Thomas speaks French, Spanish and English.
