Economic Change in Nandi North, 1895-1963

The author of this book informs the readers about economic change in Nandi North 1895-1963 in the present Nandi county, Rift valley province in Kenya. It delves into pre-colonial economic history, provide information on colonial penetration,their activities,colonial land policies introduced and how the policies altered the communities traditional economic systems. It provides information on how repressive policies created problems among the Nandi community which are felt to date and possibly provide hints on how they can be addressed.

The author of this book is currently a PhD student taking History at Moi University;School of Arts,the Department of History, Political Science and Public Administration. He holds a Masters Degree in History and Bachelor of Education Degree in History and Christian Religious Education- Moi University:Eldoret-Kenya
