Bektur Turdubekov was born in 1992 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, growing up during the collapse of the Soviet Union and the turbulent early years of his country's independence. From an early age, he witnessed the struggles of ordinary people, the power of wealth, and the courage it takes to stand against injustice.
At 17, Bektur experienced the 2010 revolution firsthand, seeing the chaos, protests, and human suffering up close. He also took part in the events of 2020, documenting history repeating itself. These experiences shaped his perspective and fueled his desire to tell the stories of remarkable people and the unseen realities of life.
