"It's not that I forget. I just don't remember." Tim Neale has been telling stories for years. Alaskan bears to boomboxes, New Zealand to Vietnam, freighters to bicycles -- serious, funny, or quirky they show his perseverance in leaving a lasting legacy in spite of Parkinson's with Lewy-body dementia. Life is to be lived -- actively and fully.
Bonnie L. Campbell is a fine art photographer focused (note the pun) on nature and conservation photography. Her adventures in Alaska with Tim, other friends, and often solo inform her work as much as her varied background. A science educator, USAF command and control officer (AWACS & AK ROCC aircraft controller), systems analyst, consultant, park ranger and data manager with degrees in Chemistry & Biology (BA), Science Education (MAT) and Environmental Science & Engineering (MSc) she has been described as a modern-day renaissance woman. Having seen views from the ridgelines of Alaska's Brooks, Chugach, and St. Elias ranges, she moved to the "lower 48" in 1996 settling first in the Pacific Northwest. Headed to Midway Atoll NWR in 2012 for seven-months among the albatross, she shared its rich history as World War II's Pacific Theater turning point with those able to visit while the atoll was open to visitors. Fortunate enough to witness Battle of Midway veterans present at the battle's 70th Anniversary, she values history. When not out exploring, she can be found with her partner Richard in and around Moab, UT. To view more of Bonnie's work, visit www.nwreflections.net
