Originally from Arkansas, Brandon has served in pastoral ministry, worked in publishing, and authored Misreading Scripture with Western Eyes, and Demanding Liberty: An Untold Story of American Religious Freedom. Brandon, his wife, Amy, and their two kids live in Washington Heights. They enjoy good food, good company and exploring New York City.
