Portrait

Clare Faulkner is an author, illustrator and graphic designer. Clare retrained in graphic design following a career in book publishing. During an inspiring 10 years at the V&A, she republished fashion gift books by Christian Dior, Hardy Amies and Edith Head and launched a series of republished autobiographies by fashion designers including Christian Dior, Barbara Hulanicki and Elsa Schiaparelli. Clare has since worked on a diverse range of design projects, including books on fashion designers John Galliano and Victoria Beckham. She is also the author and illustrator of The Cat Lover’s A to Z and The Dog Lover’s A to Z and illustrator of The Little Book of Sloth Philosophy. Clare lives in London, UK with her family.
