About The Author _ D.E. DeGraw is an R&D Scientist with a background in Natural Science, specializing in Biology. Their professional life is dedicated to scientific inquiry. While at home, they cultivate a vibrant homestead complete with chickens, honeybees, a tarantula, and a lively collection of cats, dogs, an aquarium, and a paludarium. Beyond their professional and homesteading pursuits, D.E. DeGraw finds joy in connecting with others and indulging in movies, television shows, and videogames.
The passing of their grandfather and the accompanying realization that his vast and entire compendium of knowledge was lost with him ignited DeGraw's drive to write. This experience created the awareness that knowledge is inextricably linked to biological lifeforms and compelled them to write and inspire others to preserve their own insights, attempting to ensure that our collective understanding is not lost to the ceaseless currents of time and space.
