After six years of honorable service, David was discharged from the Navy in 1984. His retirement did not mark the end of his contributions, however. David became an active member of veteran organizations, advocating for the rights and welfare of fellow veterans. He also dedicated time to mentoring young sailors and sharing his knowledge and experience.
Now, at 67, David is embarking on a new adventure: a writing career he has long dreamed of.
