Around Whitchurch & Market Drayton

For this new book David Trumper has again teamed up with Shropshire postcard collector extraordinaire, Ray Farlow. Here they present a feast of photographs that illustrate bygone days in Whitchurch and Market Drayton, and also the neighboring towns and villages of Broseley, Shifnal, Albrighton and Newport. The combination of David's encyclopedic knowledge of the county's history and Ray's superlative image collection, will mean that this book will certainly have pride of place on many bookshelves in north Shropshire.

David Trumper is Shropshire's best-known local historian, partly because of his numerous books in the Britain in Old Photographs series, and partly because of his lectures to a wide range of local organizations. He has teamed up with postcard collector Ray Farlow. They recently collaborated on Bridgnorth in Old Photographs. Both live in Shropshire.
