Beschreibung

The Sectaurs and Power Lords, the Nacelleverse’s iconic toyline heroes from the ‘80s, are the stars of a new, senses-shattering volume from the imaginations of writing duo Dennis Culver (Unstoppable Doom Patrol) and Matt Hotson (Power Rangers) ably abetted by hotshot artists Ramon Bachs (Star Wars: Bounty Hunters) and V Ken Marion (Green Lanterns)!
While King Markor the Mighty lies comatose, his son, Prince Dargon of the Shining Realm, must rise to the position of leadership over the kingdom and its subjects, but the evil Empress Devora of the Dark Domain has other plans in store as she sends the ruthless General Spidrax, cunning Scorpia, and an elite team of warriors to infiltrate thed Shining Realm and plunder its deepest secrets! Meanwhile, across the galaxy, space smuggler Adam Power is on a quest to find the Power Gem, the means to transform into a Power Lord and defend the universe against the Extraterrestrial Alliance who threaten to impose an interstellar dictatorship. His enemies intend to do all they can to prevent him finding it, but will his friends also stand in the way?
And on Earth, the extraterrestrial Great Garloo is down on his luck and looking for a big change. Well, he’d better be careful what he wishes for when he and his companion, Big Loo, travel to an off-world arena where he finds himself a contestant on what could only be described as an interstellar game show of death!
This volume collects Sectaurs #1–3, Power Lords #1–3, and The Great Garloo #0!

Matt Hotson always wanted to write comics, but took a little detour along the way to work as an assistant director on TV shows and movies like DC’s Titans, Murderbot, and Tammy’s Always Dying. His first comic book project, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Return, released in 2024 from Boom! Studios. He lives in Toronto, Canada with zero dogs, zero cats, and that one pesky spider up on the living room ceiling.
Leon Reiser is an up and coming writer from Los Angeles, California. He now lives in Brooklyn, New York where you may find him in the back of your local shop weighing packs and digging through crates. He does not bite… anymore.
After studying at the Joso School for Comic-Book Artists, Ramon Bachs started publishing books in Spain such as Manticore, Yinn, and Castor & Pollux. A few years later, he did his first American work for Dark Horse Comics (Joker vs. the Mask, Star Wars, Shrek). After several issues of the Gen-13 series for Wildstorm, Ramon drew the acclaimed Detective Comics run “Batman: City of Crime” with David Lapham for DC Comics. Then he moved over to Marvel and worked with Paul Jenkins on titles such as Generation-M, Civil War: Frontline, WWHulk: Frontline, and Marvel Apes. His further work for DC includes World’s Finest, Red Robin, Azrael, the Two-Face cofeature in Batman: Streets of Gotham, Batgirl, and Bruce Wayne: The Road Home—Red Robin. Ramon has also drawn all-ages books like Robin: Son of Batman, and Hearthstone for Blizzard. His most recent work is Sectaurs for Oni Press, which you can see in this same volume!
V Ken Marion is an illustrator, concept artist, and storyteller who has been working in the comic book industry for over a decade for premier publishers such as DC Comics, Aspen MLT, and Image Comics, as well as serving as the lead artist on Dream Key Studios’ Deathshroud. V is thrilled to join the ranks of Oni Press and The Nacelle Company in crafting a new, modern take on the POWER LORDS franchise with his kinetic artwork.
