In the veiled valley of Iolara, where magic whispers on the wind and touch is the truest language, a blind artisan named Elara Thistlewick weaves tapestries imbued with the very essence of human emotion. Born into a lineage of silenced women, Elara inherited their blindness-and their extraordinary gift.  But her own heart remains shielded, yearning for a touch to unravel its dormant desires.
Into Elara's secluded world strides Rhys Madigan, a warrior branded a traitor by a pulsating crimson thread of forbidden magic. Caught between a ruthless Syndicate and the Guardians' fear, Elara and Rhys must flee their sanctuary. Their journey takes them through the hidden pathways of Iolara, to a community of exiled weavers who reveal the true nature of Elara's power - the ability to weave with the earth's forgotten language.
