The prophet

In his book, "The Prophet," Gibran Khalil Gibran reaches the peak of his spiritual development mixed with his literary creativity. This book has been translated into several languages --and is considered Gibran's creative masterpiece. It contains a summary of his opinions on love, marriage, children, homes, clothes, buying and selling, freedom, law, mercy, punishment, religion, morals, life, death, pleasure, beauty, generosity, laws...etc. These opinions came from the mouth of a prophet named "The Chosen One," and the Prophet's message is the message of the Sufi. A believer in the unity of existence, that the soul thirsts to return to its source, and that love is the essence of life.
In the book The Prophet, Gibran expresses his views on life through his treatment of the human relationships that bind man to man, and his belief in Sufism becomes more apparent.
