A Novel Battery Charger System & Appended ZCS (PWM) Resonant Converter Dc-Dc Buck

Professorial Dissertation from the year 2014 in the subject Electrotechnology, grade: Master, Hohai University, course: Power Electronics, language: English, abstract: The main study innovation-objective of this thesis is to develop a novel high-efficiency battery charger with ZCS PWM buck topology which has simple circuit structure, low switching losses, easy control and high charging efficiencies. Beside, this project is about to investigate the action of efficient performance in charging shaping to gain the high output charging efficiency of the battery charger.

Dr. Irfan Jamil was born in Punjab province, City Multan, Pakistan on Feb 25,1987. He earned Ph.D degree from Hohai University, Nanjing, China in 2021. He received his master degree from Hohai University in 2013. He had been as a MEXT research scholar in Kyushu University, Japan in 2014. He also did his master research work as a Visiting Research Scholar at Tsinghua University, Beijing from 2012-2013 under the project No. is 2012AA050215 National High-Tech R&D Program (863 Program) of P.R China. He had been part of the National Natural Science Foundation of China under Grant no. 51677054 and Grant no. 51577049 and in part by the State Key Research Project (2017YFB0902600) during his PhD program. He has been published more than 25 research papers and 8 e-books in referring international journals, including SCI, IEEE conference during the period of master degree program from 2011-2013 and PhD program 2014-2021. He is also an editorial board of committee in International Journal of Innovation and Applied Studies (ISSR) and in World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (WASET). He is an editorial board member of Smart Science (TAETI Academic Publisher). He is also founder of Kambohwell Publisher Enterprises (www.kwpublisher.com) and Managing Editor in IJEW journal (www.ijew.io). His research interest Involves in solar system evaluation, solar energy production & power generation, Performance Ratio, Power Electronics and Power System Automation. These days, He is working as a Project Manager/ Commercial Manager in TBEA Xinjiang SunOasis Co., Ltd by the QASPL Govt. of Punjab Energy Department project of O&M (100MW Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power Plant Bahawalpur, Pakistan). He is an expert in the administration level field related to the industrial, commercial sector and in an academic firms.
