Die Geltung des Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetzes

'The Applicability of the Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz). The Personal (§ 1 LkSG) and Material (§ 2 [5] to [8] LkSG) Scope of the Act': The German Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains is intended to counteract the violation of human rights and environmental concerns by companies. Violations of the law can result in fines. The prerequisite is that the company falls within the scope of the law and must comply with the due diligence obligations along the supply chain. The legal requirements for the personal and material scope of application of the Supply Chain Act are the subject of this work.

Johanna Hübsch studierte Rechts- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Universität Mannheim. Dort absolvierte sie den Studiengang Unternehmensjurist/in LL.B. und legte im Jahr 2022 die Erste Juristische Prüfung ab. Von März 2022 bis April 2024 war sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl von Prof. Dr. Bülte tätig sowie seit März 2022 am Lehrstuhl von Prof. Dr. Fischinger, LL.M. (Havard). Im Frühjahr 2024 erfolgte die Promotion durch die Universität Mannheim. Seit April 2024 ist sie Rechtsreferendarin am Landgericht Mannheim.
