Baby and the Bank Robber

It's 1934, and poor Baby Faye is pretending to be eleven-years-old so that crooked Reverend Lumpkin, who adopted her, can bilk people out of their hard-earned money. But nobody wants to be eleven forever, especially not Faye,. Faye's got her eye on bigger things, like finding the Bald Man who murdered her parents, which is where reluctant bank robber, Harry Pleasant, comes in. When Harry and his lame-brained cousins arrive in town the same day Faye does, she jumps on the opportunity to achieve her goal by stowing away in their old Model T. Now the gang of inept bank robbers are on a wild ride through Depression Era Oklahoma, robbing banks, adopting stray cats and even meeting Bonnie and Clyde. But with the murderer not to far behind them, will they live long enough to find the love Faye has dreamed of all her life?

I started writing, a historical with me as the heroine, of course, when I was nine-years-old. Since there were no computers in those days, all I got out of the exercise was twenty hand-written pages and a blister on my middle finger. It would be another thirty years before I took another shot at a story.
I write romantic comedy. I love to make people laugh, I love to make people feel all warm and gooey inside which is why my motto is Love, Life, Laughter. I love quirky heroines and not so perfect heroes.
I live in New York City, a city rich in history, weird residents and fantastic neighborhoods, a treasure trove to draw upon when creating my stories. Enjoy!
