Star-Crossed. Life is a Story - story.one

The starred one and the haunted one, two men living their lives in a cruel, post-apocalyptic wasteland and struggling with different kinds of immortality.
While K is cursed with an undying body in an undying land, doomed to wander the planet until the ends of the earth, D dreams of his past lives time and time again, dreams of knowledge and magic and pain and love. Dreams of the starred one he is searching for lifetime and lifetime again.
Like the push and pull of tide and ebb, they find each other just to be torn apart again, a never-ending cycle of heartbreak and longing.

My name is Lena, I'm 24 and I have been creating stories as well as art for them for as long as I can remember, basically.
K and D are very dear to me, as they are the main characters for the novel I'm writing at the moment. I borrowed them for this heartbreaking apocalyptic scenario and feel like it made me understand them even better now.
