Laughter in the Sadness of my Heart

Laughter in the Sadness of my Heart captures events from the author's childhood growing up in post-plantation, and pre-independent Jamaica. The author provides a very captivating account of his childhood experiences, sharing emotional swings and nostalgic moments. The book gives a peek of the life of poverty-stricken Jamaicans under the British Monarchy. The author's engaging tone and vivid descriptions pulls the reader into the story, making them feel as if they were there.

Leonard holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of the West Indies, and an MBA degree from the Grand Canyon university. Leonard is a former classroom teacher, who also has experience in the Life Insurance Industry. He wrote his first self-published book, 'The Power of Certainty' in 2012, and a subsequent ebook, 'Toast to a Lover' with a collection of his poetry. More recently, Leonard did a business publication; 'Strategic Management from theory to Application', with Lambert Academic Publishing. He is married and has two sons and one daughter.
