The world's last Irish Druid, with mystical powers to improve people's lives by telling a story, battles his own pain across the centuries and longs to end a Sacred Trust so he can finally die, almost as much as he longs for a love of his own.

Portrait

Linda Williams Stirling, being somewhat nomadic for most of her life, has had several careers including being a Catering Director for a hotel chain, a Senior Law Clerk, an Executive Director for a Non-Profit, and a Foreign Service Officer (Diplomat) for the U.S. Department of State. She has lived in multiple locations in New York, California, Illinois, Virginia, Washington, DC, Southeast Asia, Central America, and the Middle East. In between work and raising her three beautiful children as a single parent, she kept writing; publishing articles, essays, and poetry. Now that Linda is retired, her children are adults, and she has four beautiful grandchildren, she has returned to her first love... writing fiction. She currently lives in Upstate New York with an insufficient number of pets, in the same small town from which she started her life's journey. Linda has several chronic illnesses, autoimmune diseases, and chronic pain conditions that are disabling. She hopes that by sharing this information, others like her will realize they can accomplish more than they might think. It will take longer, it will increase pain levels for a bit, and it will be more exhausting than if they were completely healthy, but it is possible for one to find the thing that makes their heart sing and do it.Simon Says is Linda's debut novel and is inspired by an actual event.
