Lucas Weisleder is 13 years old and has been quilting alongside his mother since he was eight. He first exhibited his work at QuiltCon when he was 10 years old, where he was the only exhibitor in the youth category who did all his own work: piecing, binding, quilting—everything. The following year he was the winner in his category.
