Alegría

The jungle that surrounds and lurks. Secondary roads and rainy streams. A farm called Alegría. Lives of those who rarely get what they want, lives of coming and going, lives accommodated to violence or that disappear in a swipe. With her writing, Margarita García Robayo combines existences, spaces and times because "one can fill the gap with stories, and the stories with more gaps and those gaps with more stories: life is a story that contains another and that contains another. One is not condemned to a single story." Powerpaola's illustrations are the other look that enriches this river that captures us and makes us happy at the same time.

Margarita García Robayo (Cartagena, 1980) es una escritora colombiana radicada en Buenos Aires. Sus libros han sido publicados en Argentina, Chile, Colombia, México, Perú, España, Cuba e Italia y ha sido traducida al inglés1​ y al italiano.2​ Ha colaborado con los periódicos El Universal (Colombia) y Clarín (Argentina). Para este último creó el blog Sudaquia, que obtuvo numerosos reconocimientos. Entre el 2010 y el 2014 dirigió la Fundación Tomás Eloy Martínez.
