Maria Liana Vodi-- ist Volljuristin und wurde in Baia Mare (Rumänien) geboren. Sie absolvierte das rechtswissenschaftliche Studium an der Freien Universität Berlin und war anschließend u.a. als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und Lehrbeauftragte an der Europa-Universität Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) tätig, wo sie auch ihre Promotion abschloss, unterstützt durch ein Promotionsstipendium der Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. Seit dem Abschluss ihres Referendariats widmet sie sich hauptsächlich der Lehrtätigkeit.
