Marie Krohn is a former teacher and correspondent for the Norfolk Daily News who is now a speaker with the Nebraska Humanities Council. Her novel, Portrait of a Chair, was nominated for the 2011 Pushcart Prize, and her articles and stories have appeared in Calyx, Storyteller, Rockford Review, Nebraska Life, and elsewhere. Marie lives in Lincoln, Nebraska.
