This study guide is designed for both instructors and students enrolled in AC electrical circuit analysis courses. The textbook includes problems with detailed solutions to help students understand the subjects in depth. It features partially solved exercises that encourage practice while guiding students through the problem-solving process and providing hints for the required formulas. Additionally, it offers exercises with final answers to motivate students to practice independently, while also aiding instructors in creating tests or quizzes. The material covered in the book includes fundamental concepts and laws of electrical circuit analysis in sinusoidal steady state. It addresses sinusoidal steady-state analysis using various methods and examination of circuits driven by multiple frequencies. Topics also include root mean square (RMS) values, applications of electrical circuit theorems in sinusoidal steady state, as well as discussions on average power, reactive power, apparent power, and complex power for resistors, capacitors, inductors, and impedances. Further content examines the power factor for different types of impedances, resonance, frequency response, bandwidth, and quality factors of electrical circuits, along with sinusoidal steady-state analysis of circuits that include magnetically coupled inductors and transformers.
