HUNTER is her debut novel, inspired by her obsession with psychological thrillers and a writing journey that began back in middle school... with a composition notebook, a head full of characters, and a habit of finishing classwork early just to keep writing.
Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Miranda now lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, the love of her life, and their child, the light of her life. Miranda studied music therapy at Mercyhurst University and now works as a board-certified music therapist in Northern Virginia. While her day job working in hospice care focuses on comfort and connection, writing gives her space to explore tension, survival, and the darker corners of the human mind. It's her favorite way to escape unwind, and create the kind of story that she'd stay up too late reading.
When she's not writing, you can probably find her crafting something fun, especially if the local library is hosting a hands-on event. She's got no formal writing degree (unless you count those AP classes she aced in high school), but she's got heart, imagination, and a growing collection of suspense-filled stories to share.
