Saladin and his era

Muhammad Farid Abu Hadid had a different and distinctive approach in his studies and writings in the field of history. Where he was interested in discussing historical events and presenting them from several points of view without being satisfied with narration and storytelling, and he adhered to this matter in his study of the personality of "Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi", so he neutrally mentioned what the Arabs and Franks narrated about him, and he did not drown the reader in exhausting and useless historical details that only interest the specialized researcher. The book begins by narrating what happened since the emergence of the call to Islam, its spread, and the establishment of the Muslim state, then narrating the history of the successive colonial crusades that were able to find a foothold in the Levant, while the Arabs and Muslims were unaware, until the pious and humble leader Saladin came and changed history and returned Jerusalem to the Arabs once again.
