Two friends. Two worlds. One big decision.
There are three things you should know about me:
I'm seventeen years old.
I have anxiety.
I'm in love with my best friend.
I never expected that to happen, but I guess it was inevitable. Eph's always been there for me, ever since we were seven and I was freaking out over a cloud. Whether it was cups of tea, jigsaw puzzles, or his special brand of hugs, Eph's little tricks always seemed to calm me down.
And I loved him for it.
But I made a huge mistake, and now nothing will ever be the same. This world alone is enough to make a girl anxious. Now imagine a parallel one.
And Eph just got thrust into it.
It turns out that my best friend might be more special than anyone thought. Now his astonishing heritage could change everything... for both of us.

Nissa Harlow wanted to be a writer from the time she was a small child, but it took a while before she finally did anything about it. In the meantime, she worked as a volunteer day-camp counsellor, a movie extra, and a digital-photo editor.
