The Evil in the Shadows and the Rebirth of Isabella Gold, a novella, is the first in the series, introducing readers to Isabella Aurelian's worlds and her initial realization of her destiny and her love for Kael. The stage is set for the first of several epic battles with the evil that lurks in the shadows.

Like a creature living in the vineyard, P. Morrison's presence is more felt than seen. His eyes and senses capture everything and those impressions are carefully curated and made part of his story telling and wine making. He conjures up memories of the things that are good and energizes the need to forget and move on past those things that stand in the way of our individual journeys through life.
By day, Paul is a winemaker and stylist, using the family vineyard as a canvas to design and create the best expressions of wine that will appeal to many palates.
Paul's journey into wine began with an urge to be creative, to leave a lasting memory based upon the hard work of applying a craft to everyday challenges. He honed his creativity by looking for opportunities during his long travails in Corporate America. It was a journey that was important at the time and later shaped his view that success is built on creativity in addition to hard work and experience.
Paul was introduced to fantasy romance by D. Walker. That led to a discussion of how wine can shape and create important moments. And those moments can be both real and within the mind. And that led to their development of Isabella Aurelian.
Paul is a graduate of UC Berkeley and successfully completed the winemaking and wine marketing programs for professionals at UC Davis. Paul also studied drawing and design at the Parsons School of Design in NYC.
Paul's focus in winemaking has evolved to maximizing the potential of every grape harvested from his family's vineyards. "It's not just about science and technique; it's about understanding the vine, what it wants and how its fruit will relate to the drinker. The art is in balancing the physical world with desired perceptions. Making the right decisions about what will be done or not done takes experience. And that experience creates art that takes years to perfect."
Paul's newest endeavor, for La Reina Cordials, has been the development of Isabella Gold, a Sweet Chardonnay. It defies categorization.
Paul shares his life with his wife and high school sweet-heart, Carol, and their two adult children.
