Just over two years ago I made what at first seemed like a new discovery: Finding my inner strength. It took me a while to realise this was just a new shift in my paradigm.
This book is meant to help others discover a new way of experiencing life that is reassuring, expansive, and limitless.
We all have some of these ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving that try to keep us safe, and try to call us back to our center. Hopefully, throughout this book, you will uncover some of your own ways and learn to relate to them differently.
Life is not meant to be lived in pure survival mode. It offers limitless possibilities that we often can't see because we are only looking at them from one perspective. As I tell my clients: The truth is like a prism; everyone is looking at it from a different point of view, and there are many. There is no "right" way to view something and no "wrong" way - only helpful and perhaps unhelpful.
Every time we practice a habit, an addiction, or a negative thought pattern our inner compass is trying to remind us that we are not near our center. We are not near our "wellness", and something is off. These are warning signs that we are veering away from home. At the same time, they are what our minds and bodies are doing to try to get through the situation at hand in the best way they know-how.
At any given moment, we are all doing the best we can. Let's be careful not to judge our current survival strategies.
There is so much to learn about life hacks within this book, and how they can help us experience life a little lighter. This book is, hopefully, a step in your direction to learn more. Each entry offers a shift in perspectives, hope, and a reminder that things are not as they seem. You will be introduced to essential, usable tools to get back to the center. These tools will help you turn off your internal alarm system and tap into your internal guidance system.
By the end of this book, I hope that you will be able to see the opportunity, the possibility, and the potential that life has to offer. This book will help you see that life is more significant than what your current story-line says about it.
