Paul Schädel studierte Rechtswissenschaften in Heidelberg, Barcelona und Köln. Seine Erste Juristische Prüfung legte er im Jahr 2017 vor dem Oberlandesgericht Köln ab. Von 2017 bis 2020 arbeitete er als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für Verfahrensrecht und Insolvenzrecht der Universität zu Köln (Prof. Dr. Thole). Seit Oktober 2020 absolviert er sein Rechtsreferendariat beim Oberlandesgericht Köln.
