Portrait

Shitanshu Mishra is a learning and educational technology scientist with over 12 years of experience. He serves as the Chief of Digital Learning, AI, and IT at UNESCO's Category 1 institute, UNESCO MGIEP. He earned his Ph.D. from the Educational Technology department at IIT Bombay (Mumbai, India) and subsequently worked with the Computer Science department at Vanderbilt University (Nashville, USA) before joining UNESCO. His research spans areas such as Ethics of AI in Education and digital learning experiences for globally large-scale learners.
Aditi Kothiyal is an assistant teaching professor with the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Center for Creative Learning (CCL) at IIT Gandhinagar (India). She obtained an MS in Electrical engineering from the Ohio State University and PhD in Educational Technology from IIT Bombay, and has several years of experience in the design and research of novel learning environments grounded in learning sciences and educational technology theory.
Sridhar Iyer has been a faculty member at IIT Bombay (India) since 1999. His research interests includes: Technology enhanced learning of disciplinary practices, Teacher use of educational technologies, and Computer science education research. He is also the President of the EdTech Society in India. Some development projects that that he has conceptualized and led are: (i) Computer Masti, a series of books for teaching-learning of Computers in schools. These products have seen more than 100K downloads from 120 countries. In 2016, Computer Masti was acquired by a company and the books are now being used in ~1000 schools in India. (ii) Project OSCAR, a repository of ~450 Interactive Visualizations for topics at the school and higher education levels. Sridhar Iyer received his BTech, MTech and PhD from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at IIT Bombay.
Sameer Sahasrabudhe is a Professor of Practice (Design) at IIT Gandhinagar (India). He previously served as Director at the Educational Multimedia Research Centre, Pune, and as a Research Scientist at IIT Bombay. His research focuses on educational multimedia, visual design, and teacher professional development. He played a key role in developing the Learner-Centric MOOC (LCM) model and contributed to the IITBombayX MOOC platform. Sameer has created learner-centric MOOCs for platforms like IITBombayX, edX, and SWAYAM. He holds a PhD in Subject Communication, postgraduate diplomas in Distance Education and Animation Filmmaking, and a degree in Fine Arts.
Andreas Lingnau is a Professor of Computer Science at the German University of Applied Sciences (DHAW) in Potsdam, Germany. His research focuses on technology-enhanced learning, computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL), and human-computer interaction. He has held research positions at the Leibniz Institute for Knowledge Media, the University of Strathclyde, KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, and Humboldt University in Berlin. Andreas also worked as an IT project leader in digital humanities at the Saxon Academy of Sciences in Leipzig and as a lecturer at Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences before becoming a professor in 2023.
Rita Kuo is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science, Utah Valley University (USA). Her research interests include e-learning, computerized adaptive testing, computerized item generation, cognitive theory, intelligent agent, mobile learning, and game-based learning. She was the Chair of IEEE Technical Community on Learning Technology (TCLT) between July 2023 and June 2025, the Vice Chair in EDI (Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) & Event between June 2021 and July 2023, and the Chair of Educational Gamification and Game-based Learning Special Interest Group in Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE) between 2020 and 2021.
