Dr. Santos Kumar Das is a R&D professional with more than 22 years (7 years' industry experience, 15 years at NIT Rourkela out of which 10 years after PhD degree) of valuable experience on various Software developments and research activities both in industries and academics. He has awarded the Senior IEEE Member and Fellow of Institute of Engineers. He has published 54 journals, 62 conference papers, 9 granted patents during his industry and academic work, 21 book chapters, one book proceedings and one is under process, and produced 12 PhD student. He has already completed 2 high end sponsored projects and at this moments, he is handling 5 sponsored and 2 consultancy projects in various domains. His research interest includes optical networking, communication networking, UAV, RADAR, AI/ML, IoT and embedded system.
Dr. Santanu Kumar Behera received the B.Sc. (Engg.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology Burla, Sambalpur, India, in 1990, and the M.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and the Ph.D. (Engg.) degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2001 and 2008, respectively. He is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India. His areas of interest are Electromagnetic theory, Planar antennas, Dielectric resonator antennas, Fractal antennas, Reconfigurable antennas, and RFID systems. He has published more than 150 articles in the refereed Journals and IEEE Conferences. He has authored three books in the research areas of Chipless RFID. He has been awarded as Top 2% Most Influential Scientists (Single Year) in 2023 Stanford University/Elsevier ranking. He is an Associate Editor in Chief of Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society Journal and Associate Editor of IEEE Journal of Radio Frequency Identification. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, Fellow Member of IETE & IE (India) and Member of IET.
