Author Sean Brawley: Sean Brawley is an associate professor of History and Associate Dean (Education) of the Faculty of Arts at the University of New South Wales (Sydney). His major publications include The White Peril: Foreign Relations and Asian Immigration to Australasia and North America, 1919-1978 and The Bondi Lifesaver: A History of an Australian Icon.
Author Chris Dixon: Chris Dixon is a reader in History at the University of Queensland. His previous publications include Perfecting the Family: Antislavery Marriages in Nineteenth-century America, African America and Haiti: Emigration and Black Nationalism in the Nineteenth Century, and Competing Voices from the Pacific War (with Sean Brawley and Beatrice Trefalt).
