Journey to the West

Journey to the West is the life story of Tang Sanzang (---)/Xuanzang (--), a character from the classic Chinese classic novel of the same name (---). Tang Sanzang went on to fetch the Buddhist scriptures from India (--/--). The current volume in the Mandarin Chinese Reading Series includes both the Chinese text (simplified characters) and pinyin in the story form.
