However, the use of legal technology by lawyers leads to new, neglected questions of legal professional liability. This work is dedicated to these and shows to what extent the risks of professional liability threatening the existence of a lawyer can be avoided through legal liability management. The focus is on the drafting of lawyers' contracts, lawyers' company law and lawyers' professional liability insurance.

Simon Hager studierte von 2012 bis 2018 Rechtswissenschaften an der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. Von 2013 bis 2021 war er zunächst als studentische Hilfskraft und ab 2018 als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Bürgerliches Recht, Deutsches und Europäisches Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg von Herrn Prof. Dr. Christoph Teichmann tätig. Seine Dissertation wurde durch den Lehrstuhlinhaber betreut. Von 2021 bis 2023 absolvierter er das Referendariat im OLG Bezirk Bamberg (Landgericht Würzburg). Seit Januar 2024 ist er als Richter auf Probe am Bayerischen Verwaltungsgericht Würzburg tätig.
