Portrait

Charlott Sellberg is Associate Professor at Department of Applied IT, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. She has a multidisciplinary background in Cognitive Science and Human-Computer Interaction. She obtained her Ph.D. in Education from University of Gothenburg in 2018, where she delved into the theoretical underpinnings and practical implications of simulation-based training in the maritime industry. Since then, she has been at the forefront of research on simulations in maritime training and assessment, consistently pushing the boundaries of knowledge in her field. Her findings have been disseminated through numerous publications in prestigious journals and presented at international conferences, gaining recognition and acclaim beyond the maritime domain. Dr. Sellberg' research has not only advanced the theoretical foundations of simulation in maritime training but also yielded practical implications for the maritime industry. This book puts emphasis on the latter aspects.
