The Story of David (Bible Stories, #3)

I am constantly challenged to read the Bible with an open, unfettered mind. With the blinders of tradition, religion, culture and false ideas removed. Seeing the reality of the lives of the men and women, how they lived, grew into the mighty people God could use to touch their generations and beyond.
Such is this story. David, a mighty man God called when he was a child, with a rich, powerful heritage and foundation. Called to stand, lead, be the man God could use in his generation and to even stand in faith through generations to be in the lineage of the Son of God; Jesus.
So this is the story, taken from the Bible. Telling of the background of this man. Where he came from. The times and history of the times he lived in. The men and women who were around him and praying for the nation and their king. The story of how he became the shepherd, the solider, the leader, the king.
And though his life we can see the spiritual principles God has to build in our lives so that we can become the mighty men and women in this generation of darkness and hopelessness. Shining the Light of Jesus in our world.

I write under a pseudonym to maintain some privacy and to be free to write with fewer distractions.
I've lived all over the world and presently make my home in wonderful Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
I began as a high school teacher (History), and taught in private schools around the world. I moved on up to becoming a university professor and taught in American universities.
I taught English as a Second Language and enjoyed it immensely. I directed programs and schools.
I write because I have stories and words in me. I do not want to die with the words still in me.
I write many genres and ideas.
I am single right now in this life; but I count myself lucky and blessed to have loved and been loved.
