The Robin Hood 2025 Mystery

Detective Jake Maddock arrives in a quaint English village, eager for a break from his hectic life in Los Angeles. Used to the fast-paced city, he struggles to adjust to the slower lifestyle until he hears about a local mystery.
A series of strange occurrences have been taking place in the village. Missing garden ornaments, mysterious lights in the old abandoned mansion on the hill, and whispers of a ghost haunting the local pub have piqued Jake's interest. As he sips his tea at the cozy village cafe, he overhears two elderly ladies chatting excitedly about the latest strange event.
"I heard Mrs. Jenkins found her prize-winning roses trampled this morning!" one of the ladies exclaims, her eyes wide with disbelief.
"Yes, she even claims she saw a shadowy figure lurking about in her garden late last night," the other lady added, adjusting her glasses and leaning in close like she was about to reveal a great secret.

I was born in England, but have lived in Southern California for many years. I m now retired and live in the Pacific NW in a little seaside city amongst the giant redwoods and wonderful harbor, almost at the Oregon border. My husband and I have one cat, called Midnight and she is featured in two of my latest Sci-Fi short stories. I love Science Fiction, animals, and trying to help others.
