The Andalusian Christ

This novel is unlike any other. It was written by digging with a needle through centuries-old documents, making it difficult to locate them, locate the archives they contain, and then restore them, read them in their ancient language, and, before that, search for ways to access and use them.
The novel covers a part of the harshest period in Islamic history in Andalusia after its fall: the Moorish period, when Muslims were forced to convert to Christianity and then monitored to determine the "truthfulness of their Christianity" through the Inquisition. From this dark point, with the trial and murder of a Moorish woman, the novel begins, taking the year 1592 as its exciting opening.
Gonzalez, a Spanish Catholic man, had to have a major reason to ignite doubt in his heart about the true reason behind his mother's murder. This reason, he believed, was about the true reason behind her mother's murder, and why, as she was dying, she told him, "You are an Arab Muslim, and your name is Jesus, son of Muhammad." So what's the story? What's the secret?
Letter by letter, the novel's history is established, and the events, characters, behavior, feelings, attitudes, thoughts, and destinies are explored. From the outset, Tayseer Khalaf, the adventurer, reveals the story's ending, but he also shrouds the novel itself in mystery, leading us to a unique novel written not only with imagination, reading, and history, but also with documents.
