Portrait

Thijs Demeulemeester (1982) is a Flemish journalist. He writes, among other things, for the magazines Weekend Knack, Focus Knack, Trends, and Gentleman (all part of Roularta), as well as for the newspaper De Tijd. Demeulemeester began his career covering lifestyle and general news, but he now focuses more on design, fashion, and photography.

An art and architecture historian, Jacinthe Gigou has spent twenty years promoting and disseminating modern architecture. She worked as a curator at CIVA and served as director of the heritage agency Arkadia in Brussels until 2020. She co-created the Brussels Art Nouveau & Art Deco Festival and the Brussels Modern Architecture Biennial. In 2021, she founded Modernista, a platform dedicated to Belgian modernism. Alongside her work, she is an architecture journalist and critic for various media outlets and co-author of the book 150 casas.
