Tom Cossie realized early in life that he loved music, in all its forms. He also discovered he could make money by trading records-buying and selling- which eventually led to promoting bands and their music, paving the way for a lifelong career in the music industry. From an independent promoter to working with major record labels like RCA and Atlantic, he has collaborated with and helped develop the careers of some of music's biggest stars.

Tom Cossie brings six decades of experience to the music industry. His passion for music began with collecting 45 rpm records in a distinctive Pittsburgh market, where lesser-known artists often gained local popularity over mainstream hits. Drawing on his extensive knowledge of musicians and the record label executives behind their success, Cossie launched his career as a promotion specialist. By age 26, he had achieved the role of Senior Vice President at RCA Records. Over the next thirty years, he served as a music publisher, record producer, and artist manager. Most recently, Cossie has turned to writing, sharing personal insights and reflections from his career in the music business.
