Tarikul Islam (M'16-SM'18) received the M.Sc. Engg. Degree in Instrumentation and Control system from A. M. U. Aligarh, in 1997 and the Ph.D (Engg..) degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2007. From 1997 to 2006, he was Assistant Professor and from 2006 to 2012, he was Associate Professor with the Electrical Engg. Department, Jamia Millia Islamia (J.M.I.), a Central University. Since, 2012, he is working as Professor with the same University. He has over 25 years of teaching and research experiences. He has authored/co-authored 14 book chapters; three edited books, awarded three patents and filed two Indian patents and published more than 200 papers in peer reviewed Journals and Conferences. His research interests include sensing technologies, and electronics instrumentation. He received research grant of more than 200000 (US dollar). He is a senior member of IEEE, life member of IETE (India), ISTE (India). He is a topical editor of the IEEE Sensors journal, and associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement (TIM). He received best performing Associate Editor Award of IEEE Sensors J and outstanding Associate Editor award of IEEE Trans on Instrum and Meas. He has also secured a place in the world's top 2% of Scientist curated by the Meta Research Innovation Centre (METRICS), Standford University, USA. He received carrier best award from the University.
Shakeb A Khan received B.Sc. Engg. degree in Electrical Engineering and M.Sc. Engg. Degree in Instrumentation and Control from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, in 1992 and 1994, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in Instrumentation from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, in 2005. He has been with Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi, India, since 1995, where he is currently Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He has published 33 papers in peer reviewed journals and 37 papers in international and national conferences. He contributed three book chapters. His research and teaching interests include Electrical & Electronics Instrumentation, Thin Film Sensors, Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) of Transformer oil, Applications of Soft-computing techniques. He is Associate Editor, IEEE Sensors Journal.
Mohammad Ajmal Khan received PhD degree from the department of Physics, Jamia Millia Islamia. At present he is working as Associate Professor, Department of Physics, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He published more than 60 papers in peer reviewed journals and conferences Mohammad Ajmal Khan earned his PhD degree in Physics from Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi, India in 2005. He worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia from 2006 to 2019. He is currently employed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. He has more than 20 years of expertise in both teaching and research. More than 75 articles in peer-reviewed journals, three book chapters, and ten conference pieces have been authored/co-authored by him. His area of interest is Material Science. In addition, He has also successfully completed 10 major research projects of nearly 250000 (US Dollar).
Monika Tomar received PhD degree from Delhi University, India, in 2005. At present she is working as Professor with the Miranda House (college), Delhi University. She has over 20 years of teaching and research experiences. She has authored/co-authored 10 book chapters, awarded six patents, filed five patents and published more than 315 papers in peer reviewed Journals and Conferences. Her research interests Semiconductor and Surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensors for gas/chemical/radiations/bio-molecules, Amperometric/Photometric biosensors, Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) technique for dielectric studies and sensing applications, Micro-fluidics, Nanostructured materials, Piezoelectric and Multiferroic thin films/ceramics for energy harvesting applications, Pressure sensors, RF and microwave resonators, photonic devices, Non linear optical studies, SAW devices, MEMS transducers and Micro-heaters, Thin film processing, Electronic device fabrication. She received research grant of more than 2000000 (US dollar). She transfered three technologies to Industry. She is a member of IEEE, life member of several professional societies. She received many awards including excelent teacher award, Kamla power wo,en award. She has also secured a place in the world's top 2% of Scientist curated by the Meta Research Innovation Centre (METRICS), Standford University, USA.
Shabana Mehfuz received B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from Jamia Millia Islami (Central University) and M.Tech Degree from IIT Delhi. She received the Ph.D. degree in Soft computing area from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She has been with Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi, India, since 1997, where she is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. She has published more than 125 papers in peer reviewed journals and international and national conferences filed patents and book chapters.
