David Keith Lynch wurde am 20. Januar 1946 in Missoula, Montana, geboren. Er ist ein US-amerikanischer Künstler, der zugleich als Filmregisseur, Filmproduzent, Drehbuchautor, Schauspieler, Maler, Autor, Komponist und Designer arbeitet. Heute lebt er in Los Angeles.
