Beschreibung

Join Miffy as she sets off to visit an old friend in this adorable addition to the collectible, classic Miffy series.
Miffy is a bit nervous to be travelling alone for the first time, but there's lots to do at her friend's house when she arrives for a visit. They are soon having a lovely time playing chase and hide-and-seek. Miffy even tries out some roller skates! No wonder they are so tired at the end of such a busy day!
Sensitively translated by award-winning poet Tony Mitton, this charming Miffy story will delight children and adults alike.
First published in 1955, Miffy was created by celebrated Dutch artist Dick Bruna. Bruna's distinctive, simple style has enchanted children for generations and over 85 million copies of the books have been sold in over 50 languages since first publication.

Portrait

Dick Bruna was born in 1927 in Utrecht, Holland. Dick comes from a family of publishers who under the name of 'A.W. Bruna and Son' started to print books in 1868. While on holiday in 1955, Dick began to tell his son stories about a little white rabbit who lived in the garden of their holiday home and this little rabbit soon became known to the world as Miffy. Dick Bruna is now one of the most famous creators of picture books in the world. He has written and illustrated 124 books, which have sold over 85 million copies in 50 languages.
