Anna Marie and the Puzzling Pieces by Gino Hallidy
A challenging quest is set for a little girl named Anna Marie and her friend Charles who happens to be a calico cat. They must search for the mysterious ingredients needed to make a life-saving magical science potion.
Anna Marie and Charles team up to search for the components needed for a concoction that will hopefully free Charles's kidnapped kittens from a time bubble they have been imprisoned in. The kittens are fine so far, but if the evil Coldy-Coldy finds them before Charles and Anna Marie can complete their mission, the consequences will be terrible!
Fans of The Little Prince and Gulliver's Travels will love this glimpse into the fantastical world of childhood imagination which is too quickly chiseled away and frozen over by the real world.

Portrait

Gino Hallidy is an award-winning short story writer from Sumter, South Carolina based in Portland, Oregon. His tongue-in-cheek semi-mystical quasi-science fiction stories found traction only after he co-created The social Media of Physical Things with Terry Williams and Jon Larson where the trio persuaded the entire community of Little Five Points in Atlanta, Georgia to glue hard copies of their photos and printed versions of their musings to the sliding glass doors of imported cider coolers in Callahan's Crosstime Saloon (which at the time was masquerading as the Euclid Avenue Yacht Club).

Gino's short stories have appeared in the Sandhill Magazine, his exposés in Cola Life Magazine, and his literary criticisms in Notes on Contemporary Literature. Visit Gino online at ginohallidy.com.
