Into Her World

Into Her World is a glimpse into the life and creative imagination of your not-so-typical Texas girl. As you will discover through the poems, songs, short stories, and letters based off the chaos and craziness God throws at you. Through weathering the various storms, you can discover you may not be the only person traveling on the same storms. Ultimately, we can take the lessons we learn from our own personal experiences and help others in their time of need. With each of the fourteen chapters, you will be exposed to the innermost thoughts of J. Ko. Each chapter tells of an experience or people in her life who have impacted her into the person she has become and will become. Ideally in each chapters poem or story, you will have the opportunity to find out what it is like to deal with heartache, death, life, happiness, sadness, and so much more emotion and you will be able to relate to the pieces. No matter if youre a believer, nonbeliever, male, female, young, or old, youll find that Into Her World is one of the most unique collections of poems and stories and find a poem or story worth memorizing.

J. Ko is thankful for the life God has given her and proud of her South Texas roots and allows them to be an inspiration in everything she does. Having the opportunity to be blessed with the ability to see the country and the world because of her faith, education, sport, and music, she has become inspired by the stories she's been told, the people she has met, and her surroundings. For the past ten years, she has been building her collection in the world of poetry and prose. Throughout her life, she has always been a dreamer, believing anything is possible. In her time teaching, volunteering, competing, and studies, shares the message of don't ever stop believing and reach for the stars. She swears her heart's in Texas and Australia and plans to share her passion for culture with the world.
She was born on May 6, 1988 and grew up in Stockdale, Texas. She attended Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi, earning her B.A. in History (Social Studies education) and a music minor, and is currently working on her Master of Arts in Youth Ministry from Howard Payne University.
