Josep Lagares i Gamero (Besalú, 1963) is a chemical engineer, executive president of METALQUIMIA, and vice president of Fundación Metalquimia. He has promoted the Foundation for Creativation and the Symphony of Cobla and Strings of Catalonia, and is a trustee of several business and social foundations. Awarded the Prince Felipe Award for Business Excellence, he is recognized for his leadership in innovation and business creativity.
